Carbonaceous chondrite (CK4)
History: Purchased in Morocco in December 2008 by PThomas.
Physical characteristics: One stone weighing 15.03 g.
Petrography: (N. Chaumard and B. Devouard, UBP) Chondrules range from 200 mm to 1 mm and are equilibrated. Matrix have an unusual marble pattern, with coarse-grained texture of olivine and feldspar. Matrix crystals contained numerous micron-sized vacuoles and inclusions. CAIs are small and very scarce.
